a little about me...

Hi!  I'm Sheila!

My journey into the world of weddings started in 2016 when I joined the 3 Cheers Hospitality Team. When I was hired to take over the Social Media and Marketing, my heart was always about the events side of the company. With an eye for detail, I quickly showed my affinity for weddings through great communication, planning, and coordinating events that left guests in awe. I absolutely adore everything about weddings - from the exhilaration of the couple’s love to the satisfaction of watching the event go smoothly.

As the Current Events Director for the company, I am the connector from the couple being married, capturing their selections, timing, and details for their menu and timeline for their wedding, to our team on site who makes it all happen.  

I have 15 years of experience in event planning, creating, and executing.  Stepping into a Coordinating role is a natural next step. I would love to start a conversation with you!

Fun Facts:  I am a huge book dork and love to chat about authors, books, and book happenings.  One of the biggest events I love co-chairing is Wine and Words, now in its 12th year!

I am a closet gamer...  LOVE Zelda and have beat every form this Nintendo game has come out with.

I love to bike and in 2017 biked across Iowa with five friends for Ragbrai.  (One of the coolest things I have ever done!)

I CO-Created Quarantingo (IYKYK) and  Stride and Seek - a local  Scavenger Hunt Run to raise money for local non profits (think Amazing race meets Survivor)  

​

I have been to Honduras 7 times working with Street Kids

My Heart Things: I love spending time with family and friends, my rescue dogs Burger and Teddy, anywhere there is a camp fire, and finding new adventures and creating life long memories.
